# Overview

There are several features related to emergency calling built into your Zoom Phone system. The following sections provide a comprehensive overview and best practices for emergency routing, emergency event notifications, and configuring an internal safety response team.

Nomadic emergency services allow the system to detect users' locations and provide a physical address in the event of an emergency call. This document describes nomadic emergency services for Zoom Phone “native” services in the US & Canada, Bring Your Own Carrier options, and markets and sites outside the US & Canada.
