# Troubleshooting

The Zoom Workplace app has built-in tools to help users and administrators review current settings and troubleshoot Zoom Device Management (ZDM) synchronization, when needed.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**

See the [Using the Zoom Network Connectivity Tool](https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb\&sysparm_article=KB0058114) article for more information about Zoom Client Healthcheck.
{% endhint %}

To access the Zoom Client Healthcheck tool, use the following keyboard shortcuts:

* **Windows:** Ctrl + Alt + Shift + D
* **macOS:** Command + Option + Shift + D

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://1175968039-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FctBXUMeBy4rtLMmMkKRG%2Fuploads%2FnLZv8DWbJi0i0PGaQasb%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=28411ffa-91fc-4eef-80d0-65da86e38de9" alt="Sample Zoom Client Healthcheck screen" width="375"><figcaption><p>Sample Zoom Client Healthcheck screen</p></figcaption></figure></div>

In the left navigation, click **App setting**. This page will show the current ZDM enrollment status, group details, and how each policy is enforced.

As policies and settings are changed on the client or via ZDM, you can click the **Reload** button in the top-right corner to verify updates in real time.

* **Device name:** The device hostname and value shown in the Zoom Admin portal.
* **Enrollment token:** The current configured enrollment token.
* **Status:** Shows whether the device is successfully enrolled in ZDM (success).
* **Policies:** This is a list of policies that are enforced, their current value, and the source (GPO, ZDM, and so on).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://library.zoom.com/advanced-enterprise-services/device-management/managing-zoom-clients-and-devices-explainer/troubleshooting.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
