# Conference Room Connector Explainer

Conference Room Connector (CRC) allows standards-based H.323/SIP video conferencing devices to join Zoom Meetings and Webinars. CRC also includes optional features, including device management, calendar integration, and call control by registering your SIP-based video conferencing devices to Zoom’s SIP proxy.

By obtaining one or more CRC subscriptions for your Zoom account, supported video conferencing devices can join Zoom Meetings and Webinars by dialing into the CRC gateway using SIP or H.323 dialing protocols. By deploying the Enhanced API Connector into your network and managing video conferencing devices in the Zoom web portal, your organization can utilize the optional calendar integration and SIP proxy registration features for your supported H.323/SIP video conferencing devices.

This document will outline the process for activating Conference Room Connector for your Zoom account and establishing connections to Zoom Meetings via the CRC gateway using SIP and H.323 dialing protocols. It will also cover the deployment of the Enhanced API Connector, configuring optional CRC features, licensing considerations, supported devices and software versions, and other technical requirements for CRC usage. Common integration procedures will be described for organizations transitioning from their on-premises H.323/SIP operations to Conference Room Connector.
