# Availability

### The new groups experience is rolling out based on account type and group count

#### New accounts created after January 2026 default to the new groups and settings management experience automatically

Accounts created after January 2026 are provisioned with the new groups and settings management experience from the start. These accounts do not need to complete a migration. The new experience is their default group management model.

#### Existing accounts with zero or one group as of January 2026 were automatically updated to the new experience

Existing accounts that had zero or one group as of January 2026 were automatically updated to the new groups and settings management experience. Because these accounts had no multi-group configurations that could produce settings conflicts, the update could be applied without requiring administrator action or a migration wizard.

#### Existing accounts with two or more groups must request access to the migration flow

Existing accounts with two or more groups as of January 2026 must request access to the self-service migration flow. To request enablement, contact [Zoom Support](https://support.zoom.com/) and submit a new request to "Enable New Groups Management on my account."

Once the migration flow is enabled on the account, administrators can use the migration wizard to complete the transition at a time that works for their organization.
